Enid Burton

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Enid Burton completed her master’s degree in Social Work at Adelphi University. She has over 20 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, crisis intervention, outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric, large nonprofits, and private practice.  She has a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, family, and groups.  Enid approach emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and provision of ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Enid practices with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Crisis Intervention. She continues to seek ongoing updates to her skills and knowledge base. Enid is invested in an approach emphasizing a more integrative and dynamic approach to mental health.  She is particularly concerned with improving intervention to support better emotional and relationship health.
